Cabernet Highland Fall food Drive
Neighborhood Food Collection Initiative November 1-15
Dear Neighbors,
We hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity to come together as a community to support those in need. We are launching a Neighborhood Food Collection Initiative aimed at gathering non-perishable food items for local families facing food insecurity.
How You Can Help
We encourage each household to contribute as best as they can. Here are some ways you can participate:
Donate non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and cereal.
(click here for a list of 20 Items Food banks always need.)
Volunteer your time to sort and package the collected items.
Spread the word to friends and family and encourage them to join our effort.
If you are unable to participate in the Traditional Food Drive,
Please consider our Virtual Food Drive. (Link will send you to Cabernet Highland Virtual Drive landing page)
A Virtual Drive is a opportunity for Financial support of the Food Bank.
Every Traditional Food Drive falls short in providing every item that is needed to fill the Baskets for those recipients.
Financial donation help fill that gap.
Collection Details
Food collections will take place on:
Date: November 1- 15
Time: Daily Daylight hours
Location: 2 Locations to drop off your donations:

Let's Make a Difference Together!
Your support can have a significant impact on our community members who rely on these resources. Together, we can help ensure that no family goes hungry. Especially this year with SNAP program funds frozen. (Link to a previous blog post)
Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
PS: We have several personal appointments that will keep us away from our pickup locations from time to time over the next 2 weeks of the drive. If you come by either location and the barrel is not out. please call me to arrange a time for us to help complete your donation.
Sincerely,
Patrick Shea
