In Cabernet Highlands, we all have garage door openers. They work reliably until the power goes out. Have you ever tried to open your garage door without the help of the opener. It should be relatively easy, but I found my door was impossible to open manually.
I tried a few years ago when my garage door opener failed, and I could not lift the door. I am quite strong, but I could not lift the door. It wasn’t adjusted correctly. and I think I never actually got the manual release to work. I think it was stuck due to lack of maintenance.
Since then, I have had my opener and my springs replace and everything properly adjusted so I can lift the door by myself.
